Wonder Woman by Jeff Chapman

What Alex Ross does with photographs and watercolors Jeff Chapman does with photographs and Photoshop. By that I mean, much like the former, he brings superheros to vivid life by using a slew of references combined to make the perfect piece of art.

You might remember Jeff Chapman from the Animated Women Of The 80s post I made back in June where I featured his versions of She-Ra, Taarna, and a bunch of other hotties from that era. I instantly fell in love with his artwork back then, but forgot to feature him again until I re-discovered his Wonder Woman series while I was looking for pics for the newest NSFW Gamer Catfight! article.

I love the way Jeff Chapman depicts Wonder Woman, specifically the types of bodies he uses as reference. I like my Amazon princess to be a little more on the muscular side. I can’t stand it when artists draw Wonder Woman too thin. She needs to be strong and powerful, but not too bulky (Alex Ross makes her a little too thick sometimes). Jeff Chapman’s Wonder Woman is ripped and sexy, exactly like I always pictured her in my head – It’s like he has a direct feed to my brain grapes!

Check out Jeff Chapman’s Wonder Woman series and let me know what you all think of it in the comments below.
