    Whoo! Return of the cast!
The Winter Soldier was indeed bonkers, and I loved every minute. I have to agree that it’s the only follow-up that still feels like it takes place in the Avengers world, I would say the money spent on Thor 2 and Iron Man 3 could’ve been put towards giving Hawkeye his own film since he’s the only one without any context pre-Avengers. A partnership with Black Widow like Winter Soldier would’ve been pretty sweet, too- more Scarlet in a catsuit is never a bad thing.
Following with the Batman bit, I think it’s interesting that we see Marvel killing it on the movie side and DC is killing it on the game side.
As for my Oculus Rift comment… I may have been under the influence of something and indeed didn’t realize that the B was in Billion. This was also before I saw the Jimquisition episode where he addressed how the interactive entertainment industry may not have been the best thing for it. I now think it will have a massive amount of money behind it that will allow Oculus VR to do its own thing. Your friend also pretty much obliterated the anti-facebook argument. Allow me to clarify I’m definitely not anti-facebook. Oh, and the quote is “Competition breeds excellence.” See the PS Plus lineup after Games with Gold went live.
Borderlands 1.5 is definitely lose-your-shit-worthy. With Borderlands 2 coming to Vita, it’s definitely going to be an off-the-charts obsession for me that may even pull me away from Warframe, especially with the Gentleman Caller Claptrap out now 😀
Other than that, I’m definitely looking forward to the bio page and would like to compliment Jeff on his awesome McConaughey!

@DevilSugar – Hahahahah I’m glad you liked Jeff’s McConaughy impression. I’ll send out an email soon about collecting bios from people.

  3. Icebro23 says:

@Devilsugar Glad you liked the impression. I didn’t even mean to do but happy it was incorporated well into the cast. I’m looking forward to the bios so that I can get to know the awesome contributors to this site!

Alright, late to the party, but I got through listening to the podcast just now. Life, it gets in the way of what you would rather be doing. Just gonna touch on a few things.

Winter Soldier was awesome. Watched it at the drive-in a couple weeks ago. Yeah, only a few hundred drive-ins left in the U.S., and Ohio has a bunch. There’s one to the east, and one to the west of where I live, but I go the one that’s to the west, it’s called the Van-Del.

Michael Bay’s TMNT. I have little opinion. This comment was pointless.

Don’t care much about fakebook buying Rift. I’m waiting on Sony’s VR headset. That’s because I play PS, and not PC.

Twisted Metal on PS3 was fucking off the god damn wall insane! I loved it! So fast, so fun. One of the few games that had a custom playlist option to listen to the music you wanted while playing online. I had a special playlist made up just for that game. It had Slayer, Iron Maiden, Sammy Hagar’s Heavy Metal, Deep Purple’s Perfect Strangers, some Dio, couple Ministry songs, Fozzy’s cover of Big City Nights, Coal Chamber’s Big Truck live and Babbit, Killswitch Engage’s My Obsession, Trivium’s Shattering the Skies Above, Taking Dawn’s This is Madness, Golden Earing’s Twilight Zone, Red Rider’s Lunatic Fringe, Cradle of Filth’s Nymphetamine, some White/Rob Zombie… Ah man, I kind of want to play again. It’s so badass. It was criminally overlooked by a majority of the community. It was buggy early on, yeah, but when they patched it up it was SOOO good! And they got to the bugs pretty quickly too. It’s a shame that, indeed, no one really talks about it. Yeah, the controls were complicated, but when you got the hang of it it played really well, and it was a blast. Felt so good to whoop some ass. I wonder if the servers are still up? I’m gonna cry if they’re not.
