NSFW Gamer’s Artist Spotlight – Mister Multiverse

As someone who grew up watching every episode of Batman: The Animated Series, I have a lot of love for the artist Bruce Timm.

By extension, I also love hentai artists that can pull off his cartoony style while throwing in a dash of sex and nudity – something Mister Multiverse is very good at doing.

You’ve probably seen almost ever image in the gallery below at some time or another on NSFW Gamer. We’ve featured Mister Multiverse’s artwork twice by itself and a shit ton of other times in our weekly hentai round-ups. Now we have an exclusive interview for you guys to enjoy.

Not Safe For Work ~ Hentai

If you’re already a fan of Mister Multiverse then you’re gonna love reading the interview below. He talks about how he got his start, tips for aspiring artists, and his favorite games and movies. If, on the other hand, you are just discovering Mister Multiverse then you’re definitely in for a treat. I guarantee you’ll be fan after looking through the whole gallery.

NSFW Gamer: Please tell us a little about yourself
Mister Multiverse: When I was about eight, I drew a horse in class and everyone said it looked awesome. At that moment my love for drawing stuff is born; cut to 2013, a family member gives me a Wacom Bamboo Tablet as a gift. What’s the first thing I ever draw with it? Porn. I post it on the internet and thus endeth my origin story. I don’t have any formal training; everything is the product of trial and error.

Who are your favorite artists?
For Hentai artists, I would say: Zet13, SunsetRiders7, Bayushix.

Non-Hentai: Bruce Timm, Mike Krahulik of Penny Arcade fame and Fil Barlow who designed all those awesome looking monsters for shows like Extreme Ghostbusters and Godzilla: The Series.

How would you describe your style?
Cartoon-y with a penchant for emulating the source material whenever I can.

Are your illustrations 100% digital or do you use traditional techniques as well?
Completely digital, at first I used Photoshop, but now I work almost entirely in Manga Studio. Might be because I’m using an older version of Photoshop, but the pen pressure in Manga Studio is just a hundred times better.

When working on a commissioned piece do you find it hard to work within a genre you are not personally interested in?
Only when I had just started taking commissions was that really a problem. At first I took almost any commissions I could, but these days I only really choose commissions that are more or less suited to my personal preferences.

Do you work when you are inspired or do you have a set schedule?
I don’t live alone, so I only have a specific window in my day when I can work, so I kinda have to keep to a schedule. And because of that limited window, my gallery is all commissions right now, cause I don’t have the time to just draw stuff I’d personally like to draw and commissions help pay the bills.

Who is your favorite character to draw?
Any female character I haven’t drawn before is my favorite character to draw at the time that I’m drawing her.

Are there any characters that you want to draw but haven’t had a chance to yet?
Oh lots! I’m huge fan of many animated shows and movies from the 90’s to present day. So that list includes many Disney characters, Marvel characters, just a crap ton of characters I’d love to draw, but no one seems to want to commission.

What advice would you give aspiring hentai artists?
Draw a lot, experiment; try new things, different programs, but draw, all the time. I know it sounds like very generic advice, but look at almost any popular webcomic, specifically look at the first page the artist ever did and the last page, that kind of change only happens after a crap ton of drawings.

List your top 3 favorite movies:
Back to the Future, Raiders of The Lost Ark, and The Avengers.

List your top 3 favorite video games:
My absolute favorite game of all time is Planescape: Torment, followed by Mass Effect and Portal.
