Best of Mortal Kombat Kosplay – Sonya Blade

Best of Mortal Kombat Kosplay – Sonya Blade

With the massive Sonya Blade kick we’ve been on lately, I figure what better way to keep it going than more kosplay?

Sonya is one of the kombat kanon’s truly klassic fighters, appearing in many of the core entries as well as the Shaolin Monks spin-off. But what is it that makes her so enduring?

She started off simply tracking an international criminal, and her arc has seen her become an important member in Earthrealm’s Outworld Investigation Agency, konfirming her victory against Shao Kahn in Mortal Kombat 3. Given how many endings kontradict one another, I have to say it’s pretty awesome to see a victory over the Emperor not held by one of the main heroes. However you want to salute, it’s time to pay tribute to Lt. Blade.

Well yah start it off with Jessica Nigri, so naturally that gets the spunk juices flowin’. I see 3 photo manips in there… not quite cosplay. But yeah, solid selection. I do like the MK3 getup, tis one of her best. And Kerri Hoskins then… lawd.

    But yeah, good selection.

😀 Thanks! Yeah, the photo-edits went right along with the Jeff Chapman features we had a couple months ago, so I figured toss ’em in. The 2011 costume is apparently the most popular, so I grabbed those for a little more variety.
